Our First Trip

After much logistical planning (and gear!!) the convoy, dog and all, set out for the family lake house. The babies enjoyed the Adirondack air and sunshine on our long walks. Although they are still too young to be "wee wee woozles", we checked out the local camp, where they will hopefully learn to sail and swim in the years to come. We are looking forward to many long weekends and summer vacations up at the lake!!!

Developmental milestone #1: Social Smile........check

4 weeks old: Our First Photoshoot

Here are some photos of the babies at 4 weeks. They are posing on the beautiful chairs that Auntie Kate and Uncle John bought them. I think I see future super models here ;) They're naturals!!!!

The Bambinos have arrived (well, 11 weeks ago :)

It has taken me 11 weeks to get my self together to start this blog........so I'll give you a little history of the past 2 and 1/2 months or what I can remember of it.......sleep deprivation is a wonderful thing!


Charlotte Grace and Benjamin Michael arrived on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 10:40 and 10:41am, weighing 6lbs4oz and 6lbs14oz......all of the bedrest definitely paid off. Thank you Dr. Finkelstein and Dr. Canavan!!! After 5 days in the hospital, we (yes, all four of us) left for home. No more call buttons 24/7, no more demonstrations on bathing, feeding, diaper changing etc.......it was time for the real world of parenting.......OUR INSTANT FAMILY!!!!
